Text Box: 2009 GREATER LATROBE CROSS COUNTRY BOOSTERS          CLICK HERE FOR AUGUST 26 BOOSTER MEETING AGENDA     September 5th : Car wash at Rusbosin’s 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM All runners are asked to sign up for at least one two-hour shift. Please be ready to lend a hand – this is a fun and profitable fundraiser. (Note: If this fundraiser is cancelled due to weather, another fundraiser will be held during the season.)   Events during the Season: October 3rd (after the meet):Team Picnic We have a feast at the park – complete with grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. Families of boy runners will be asked to donate food. Always a fun time – families welcome!   September 29th (after the meet) Senior Night at the CSC We will need parents of non-seniors to organize this event. Families of girl runners will be asked to donate food. Pizza will be provided.   Fundraisers: Entertainment Book Sale This is our main fundraiser. Each runner family will be asked to sell at least 5 books. The more you can sell the better! Books will be handed out at the Parents Meeting on August 26th.   Sub Sale We will be trying to hold a pre-season sub sale sometime this summer. Details will be posted on the website and handed out at an upcoming practice.   Car Wash September 5th at Rusbosin’s!   Banquet Raffles 50/50, basket raffles, and other fundraisers held during the end of season banquet.   Buyout Participation in the fundraisers is not mandatory if you choose to do the buyout. The buyout amount will be announced at the Parents Meeting in August.   Goal of the Boosters Organization! The goal of the Boosters is to support the Cross Country team with their expenses for the season. Last year’s expenses were about $4000 and are going to be higher this season.
